These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] about your use of Pardy. Using Pardy means you accept them.

1. who can use Pardy

Pardy has a minimum age of 13. When you first open the app it asks for your date of birth, once, before it collects anything else. That date is used only to check your age and to work out which country rules apply to you. If the date you give puts you under 13, your account is closed on the spot, every session is signed out, and you cannot use Pardy.

If you are under 18, you may use Pardy only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who knows you use it and agrees to these terms on your behalf. If you are a parent or guardian and want your child's account and their content removed, write to email us and we will handle it.

Some countries set a higher age at which a young person can agree to their own data being processed. Where that age is above 13, a parent or guardian must give that agreement for you. We store your country so we can apply the right rule. [COUNSEL: confirm the per country position before launch, in particular France.]

You may not use Pardy if we have previously banned you, or if the law where you live does not allow it.

2. your account

You sign in with Apple or with Google. You are responsible for keeping that sign in secure, and for everything done through your account. One account per person. Do not share it, sell it, or hand it to someone else.

You choose a display name. Keep it clean. We can change or remove a name that breaks the rules in section 4.

3. circles and what happens in them

A circle is a private group chat holding 3 to 10 members, with games that run inside it. There is no public feed, no stranger matching and no discovery. People join by an invite link or a six character code that a member gives them. You can belong to up to five circles.

A round can start in either of two ways: any member can start one at any time, or the circle can run one on a schedule it chooses. A circle may also choose no schedule at all and play only when someone starts a round.

When a round runs, the app picks one member as the hot seat. The other members each pick or write one question and one dare. The winning question and dare are then revealed to the hot seat, who commits to one and has a deadline to answer it or to deliver video proof. Not delivering is a chicken. A chicken in a scheduled round breaks the circle streak for everyone.

The member who created a circle administers it: they can remove members, change the schedule and theme, hand the role to someone else, and delete the circle. Anyone can leave a circle at any time.

Everything you post to a circle is visible to every member of that circle, and it stays there. Pardy does not expire content. See section 8 for what deletion removes.

4. your content and the rules for it

You are responsible for everything you post: messages, photos, videos, voice notes, stickers, questions and dares. Before you post anything you accept these terms, and every post is checked automatically before it goes live to a circle.

Do not post, write, or dare anyone to do anything in these categories. These are the exact categories the filter enforces:

The last three, threat, underage sexual content, and doxxing, are handled differently from the rest. See section 5.

Beyond those categories, do not post anything that harasses or bullies a person, impersonates someone, infringes someone else's rights, contains malware, or scrapes, automates or attacks the service. Do not use Pardy to advertise.

Members can privately set which topics they are willing to be asked about. When they are the hot seat, questions and dares outside those topics are filtered out. Those settings reduce mismatches. They are not permanent agreement to everything inside a topic. Do not use someone's settings as a licence to push them.

5. reporting, hiding and the strike ladder

Every item in a circle can be reported from the item itself. When you report something it is hidden from the whole circle immediately, before anyone reviews it, and a placeholder holds its place in the thread. Your identity as the reporter is never shown to the author unless you explicitly choose to tell them.

A reported item is then triaged automatically. There are three outcomes. It is restored, and nothing further happens. It is upheld, it stays hidden, and the author takes a strike. Or it is escalated to a human at Pardy for a decision. A report on its own is never a strike.

Upheld violations move an author along this ladder:

1. strike one. Nothing is said. The account is watched more closely.
2. strike two. A soft warning.
3. strike three. A final warning.
4. strike four. Deck only for 30 days. You can still play, but you pick questions and dares from the app's own deck instead of writing your own. It lifts by itself on the date given.
5. strike five. Deck only with no end date, and the appeal path in section 6 opens.

Strikes decay 90 days after they were given. We do not send an itemised account of what caused each strike, because doing so would tell an author who reported them.

The trapdoor. Three categories skip the ladder entirely: threats, sexual content involving a minor, and doxxing. Content in any of those is an immediate permanent ban, every session is signed out, and where the law requires it we report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and to any other authority we are obliged to notify. Uploads are also checked against known child sexual abuse material and a match triggers the same response. There is no strike ladder and no warning for these.

You can also block any member. Blocking hides everything of theirs from you and everything of yours from them in every circle you share, stops them joining a circle you create, and prompts you to leave the circles you share with them.

6. appeals

If you are on deck only with no end date, you can appeal once from inside the app, in Settings. Write what happened, in your own words. A person at Pardy reads every appeal. If it is granted, the restriction is lifted. If it is denied, it stands. You can also appeal a ban by writing to email us.

7. Pardy Premium

Pardy Premium is an optional auto renewing subscription. It only ever adds things. The game does not lose anything if you do not buy it, and nothing that works today will be moved behind it later. Full subscription terms, including renewal, cancellation and refunds, are in the EULA.

8. leaving, deletion and what stays

You can leave any circle at any time, and you can delete your whole account from Settings inside the app, or from the deletion page if you cannot sign in. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Deleting your account:

• signs out every session and disconnects your Apple and Google sign in, so signing in again creates a new, empty account
• permanently deletes every photo, video, voice note and sticker you own, and any sticker cut from your captures, everywhere they appear
• deletes your profile picture, your display name, your date of birth, your country, your settings, your block list, and any export you generated
• removes you from every circle you belong to, which can drop a circle below three members and pause its rounds

What stays. The text messages you wrote in a circle thread stay in that thread, shown as written by a former member, with no name and no picture. Rounds you took part in keep a placeholder so the circle's history and its canvas keep their shape. We keep this text because it is part of a shared conversation that belongs to other people too, and removing it would tear holes in their history. It carries no name, no picture and nothing that identifies you.

If you want a sticker or a photo of your face removed from a circle you are not in, or removed while keeping your account, use the support address shown on the support page. We handle those by hand.

9. suspension and termination by us

We can suspend or end your access to Pardy if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if keeping your account open would put other members at risk. For anything short of the trapdoor categories in section 5 we will tell you and, where the restriction has no end date, you can appeal. A trapdoor ban is permanent.

We can also stop offering Pardy, or any part of it. If we shut the service down we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data first.

10. ownership and the licence you give us

You keep ownership of everything you post. You give us a non exclusive, worldwide, royalty free licence to store, copy, process, display and transmit your content for the sole purpose of running Pardy: showing it to your circle, scanning it for safety, backing it up, and delivering it to the app. That licence lasts as long as the content is on Pardy and ends when it is deleted, except for backup copies which cycle out on their own schedule. We do not sell your content, we do not use it to advertise, and we do not train models on it.

The app, its name, its design and its question and dare deck belong to [COMPANY LEGAL NAME]. You get a personal, non transferable, revocable licence to use the app. Do not copy it, reverse engineer it, or resell it. Full licence terms are in the EULA.

Anything you export out of Pardy carries a Pardy watermark. You may only export your own moments: your own answer, your own proof video, stickers cut from your own captures, and photos you posted. You cannot export another member's.

11. disclaimers and liability

Pardy is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that automated moderation will catch everything. Members write the questions and dares, and Pardy is not responsible for what a member chooses to write, say or do.

Do not do anything dangerous. No dare is worth getting hurt over. You are free to refuse any dare, and refusing is a normal, built in part of the game. You are responsible for your own safety and for the safety of anyone around you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to [LIABILITY CAP: counsel to set, typically the greater of amounts paid in the last 12 months or a fixed sum]. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local law gives you and nothing in these terms takes those away.

12. changes to these terms

We can change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect and ask you to accept it. If you do not accept, you can delete your account. Continuing to use Pardy after a change takes effect means you accept it.

13. governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of [GOVERNING LAW JURISDICTION], and the courts of [COURTS / VENUE] have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live, and the mandatory consumer protection law of your own country still applies to you. [COUNSEL: confirm the venue and any consumer arbitration or ODR wording needed for the launch markets.]
